Christmas Eve is the time when children have fun, especially when they are at home. The tree is shining, the presents were wrapped, inside the home, the tiny scout Elf gets ready for its last night before returning to the North Pole. Elf on the Shelf has become a tiny but important element of the holiday season for many families. The concept is simple but cute. In December, Santa Claus sends a scout Elf to houses to check on children who return to him each night. By morning, the elf appears in a different location.
Five simple ideas
Elf sees a tasty snack. One of the simplest setups is this one. Just place your elf on the table or kitchen counter close to a few candies, like marshmallows, chocolates, biscuits, toffee, and cakes. You can even leave the wrapper open so that the elf has a little bite all night. It's quick and needs little effort.

Elf in a bubble bath
Just set the elf in a mug or bowl. If you have any marshmallows or cotton balls, add those too. The elf will seem to be bathing. Don't need a sink, towels, or drama during bathing.
Elf getting ready
The elf should be placed in front of a mirror. A comb, lipstick, or face cream would lift it up. The elf will be ready for Christmas.

Elf lost in Christmas decorations
A single wire of fairy lights or a little piece of ribbon should be loosely wrapped around the elf. Don't wrap it tightly, just make it messy. Children will believe that the elf got tangled while having fun.
Elf makes breakfast
Set the elf next to the small bowl or plate. Add sweets like biscuits, cereal, and chocolates. It will look like the elf has tried to cook breakfast but got confused about how to make it.
