The holiday cheer is upon us, and to make it even more cheerful and jolly, renowned chef Kunal Kapoor has shared a 2-minute mouth-watering recipe of carrot cake.

With winter in its prime this time of the year, this cake gives a very cosy vibe, and if you're someone who wants to enjoy a freshly-baked hot cake without the hassle of ending up in the kitchen for hours, here's your cue. This recipe not only gives you a comfort of a soft and moist cake but also brings in the warmth of the legendary winter delicacy 'gajar ka halwa'.

Ingredients

The ingredients that go into the making of this cake are fuss-free. You just have to add 3-4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and combine it with your desired levels of sweetness. Dash in some milk along with the 2 tablespoons of that scrumptious 'gajar ka halwa'. Now, half a spoon of baking powder or Eno will do its magic and give the cake its perfect texture.

Baking

Now, fold the batter in and transfer it into a mug that screams Santa or into a glass container with a parchment sheet.

The cake needs some space to rise, so make sure to fill the container halfway. In the bright golden light of the microwave, wait until the cake rises and turns brown. Once the timer goes off, insert a toothpick to make sure it has baked to perfection.
