Kane Williamson has announced his retirement from international cricket, ending a distinguished career that spanned more than 16 years with New Zealand. Widely regarded as one of the finest batters of his generation and a member of cricket’s famed “Fab Four,” Williamson leaves the international stage as one of the Black Caps’ greatest-ever players.

New Zealand legend calls time on international career

The 35-year-old made his international debut in 2010 and quickly established himself as the backbone of New Zealand’s batting lineup. Over the years, Williamson became known for his consistency, calm temperament, and ability to deliver in crucial moments across formats.
