This year's Vijay Hazare Trophy has the entire country's attention focused on two players: one is Virat Kohli and the other is Rohit Sharma. The two stars have taken the field at two ends of India. However, even though both have taken the field at different ends, their form has remained the same. After Rohit Sharma's century in 62 balls against Sikkim, now Virat Kohli has scored a century against Andhra Pradesh. He took 85 balls.

Supporters were disappointed at not being able to watch Virat Kohli's game live. Despite BCCI being the world's richest cricket board, they cannot broadcast domestic cricket. On the other hand, although the Delhi vs Andhra Pradesh match was supposed to be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium, BCCI moved it at the last moment. As a result, Virat's team had to play in a closed stadium. Supporters could not watch the game even by going to the ground. However, the regret of not being able to see Virat play domestic cricket was compensated by his century.
Virat's 100 runs included 11 fours and three sixes. That means he scored 62 runs through fours and sixes.

In this match, Virat Kohli actually created another record before his century. He became the fastest Indian to score 16,000 runs in List A cricket. He scored 16,000 runs in 330 innings. Until now, only Sachin Tendulkar was on this list. He had taken 391 innings to score 16,000 List A runs. Virat did it in 330 innings and became the second Indian to score 16,000 runs in List A cricket.
