No team bought him in the IPL 2026 auction. Yet, since stepping onto the 22-yard pitch, Abhinav Manohar has not been dismissed in any match he has played. No bowler has been able to beat him. In every match, he only scores runs and remains the last man standing. This is the same batsman whom Kavya Maran had released from her IPL team SRH. Now, the way he is playing, it seems he is determined to prove everyone wrong.

The IPL 2026 auction was held on December 16, where Abhinav Manohar did not get any team. He played his first match after the auction on December 24 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Since then, he has featured in a total of five matches in the tournament. In none of these matches were the opposition bowlers able to dismiss him—he has remained unbeaten every time he batted.
