The award ceremony was held in New Delhi, where Vaibhav received the honour from President Droupadi Murmu. After the ceremony, he and other award recipients will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an interaction aimed at motivating young achievers from across the country.

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar award is India’s highest civilian award for children aged between 5 and 18 years. It is given every year to recognise exceptional achievements in several fields, including bravery, art and culture, environment, innovation, science and technology, social service, and sports.
