East Bengal conceded a late corner goal against Kerala Blasters, ending in a draw as frustrated fans chanted “Go Back” at coach Oscar Bruzon.

From just a few minutes away from gaining the victory, East Bengal conceded a goal from a corner by Kerala Blasters and left the field with a draw and disappointment. After this, the fans left shocked and raised "Go back” slogans toward the coach, Oscar Bruzon. In the very first minutes of the game, East Bengal got a penalty and scored a goal, but never looked comfortable settling into the field, moving the ball everywhere and failing to complete chances. East Bengal showed a disappointing performance at Salt Lake Stadium. With that, the home crowd fumed with anger, shouted and questioned the East Bengal management.

East Bengal looked good at the start, and in a very few minutes, they were able to create chances.In the 9th minute of the game, Youssef Ezzezajjari entered the goal post, but a foul challenge by Aibanbha Dohling stopped the chance.

After that, East Bengal were awarded a penalty, and the referee showed Aibanbha of Kerala Blasters a yellow card. Ezzejjari used his right foot and gave the lead to East Bengal. After this, the red and yellow brigade never looked settled from passing to possession; they lost the moments. Just before the final whistle, East Bengal conceded a goal from a corner, and that left the fans shocked and hurt.

East Bengal head coach Oscar Brujo admitted that he heard the supporters’ reaction during the crucial moment of the match. He said the fans had backed the team strongly throughout the 90 minutes, but showed their frustration during the set piece that led to the late goal.
