"Punish Congress in the upcoming elections and give a clear message that there is no place for infiltrators in this country," he added.
New trains flagged off
The Prime Minister also flagged off three trains aimed at improving rail connectivity in the region. These include the Kamakhya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, the Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Express and the Narangi-Agartala Express.
In addition, Modi laid the foundation stone for a Periodic Overhauling (POH) Workshop at Bashbari in Kokrajhar district. The facility is expected to strengthen Railway maintenance and improve operational efficiency.
Road and infrastructure initiatives
The Prime Minister also virtually participated in the 'Bhoomi Poojan' for Assam Mala 3.0, a major road infrastructure project. Under the initiative, more than 900 kilometre of roads will be developed to enhance inter-state connectivity and strengthen links between national highways and rural roads.
