The BCCI will honour Roger Binny, Rahul Dravid and Mithali Raj with Lifetime Achievement Awards at the Naman Awards 2026 ceremony in New Delhi.

BCCI is going to honour Roger Binny, Rahul Dravid and Mithali Raj with lifetime achievement awards at the Naman Awards. The Indian cricket board is going to felicitate the performers of the year and those who have made enduring contributions to the growth of Indian cricket.

For the Naman Awards 2026, BCCI will be bestowing Roger Binny for his enormous contribution to Indian cricket. From helping India to win the 1983 World Cup to coaching the Indian U-19 team in 2000 Roger Binny also served as national selector from 2012 to 2016 and also acted as president of BCCI from 2022 to 2025.

Rahul Dravid is also going to get the honorary award for his contributions. Known for his batting ability and precision, he was also one of the key members who transformed Indian cricket as a coach he has also won the 2024 World Cup.

Women's cricket icon Mithali Raj is also going to get the prestigious award. Raj the flag bearer of women's cricket has ended her career with 7805 runs and an average of 50.68.

Other nominations

At the Board of Control for Cricket in India Naman Awards 2026, Shubman Gill was named Cricketer of the Year for his outstanding performances across formats for India. Young Mumbai all-rounder Ayush Mhatre received the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in domestic limited-overs cricket after scoring 458 runs and taking seven wickets in seven matches.

The Mumbai Cricket Association was honoured as the Best Performing State Association after winning four domestic titles and finishing runners-up twice. Meanwhile, Mumbai women’s cricketer Ira Jadhav won the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy for Best Domestic Woman Cricketer for her impressive season.

When and where to watch?

The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 will be held on March 15 in New Delhi. The ceremony is expected to begin around 7:00 PM IST, with a red-carpet segment starting earlier in the evening. Fans can watch the event live on Star Sports. The live streaming will also be available on JioCinema and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official website. The event honours top performers and legends of Indian cricket.
