The announcement was also shared by Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, who reacted to the update on X (formerly Twitter), âIf I could turn back time....excited for SATs last week and JEE Main this week in Gemini at no cost!â, he wrote.
Google has developed the JEE Main practice papers in collaboration with education platforms PhysicsWallah and Careers360. The company said the mock tests closely match the actual exam pattern students face on test day.

After completing a mock test on Gemini, students receive instant feedback showing where they performed well and where they need improvement.
For questions they find confusing, students can directly ask Gemini to explain the correct answers. The app can also help identify specific knowledge gaps and assist students in building a customised study plan to boost confidence before the exam.

Earlier this month, Google introduced free SAT practice test papers on Gemini as well. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) mocks were launched in collaboration with The Princeton Review.
In addition to student-focused tools, Google is also expanding Geminiâs role in classrooms. The Gemini-powered Google Classroom app will help teachers draft assignments, summarise student progress using class-specific context, and provide audio and video feedback directly within assignments.
According to Google, these features are designed to reduce paperwork and allow teachers to focus more on personalised learning and student growth.
