The latest information states that Samsung is expected to officially reveal the Galaxy S26 Ultra at a Galaxy Unpacked event around February 25, 2026, with pre-orders and sales starting shortly after. Despite high expectations, recent leaks suggest the S26 Ultra might stick with a similar battery setup to the previous model, which is a 5000 mAh battery. As the battery is the crucial one, users were highly hoping for advancements regarding it.
While other companies are upgrading the silicon-carbon battery technology that can be useful for longer uses and fast charging, Samsung is continuing with the traditional battery type for now, for their safety and reliability concerns.

Even though the battery size remains the same, the makers are providing faster charging support, which is around 60W wired charging. It is higher than the last models they have launched. But the users' expectations are still high on design, faster performance, and camera updates.
