ChatGPT is no longer just a platform for answering questions. Gradually, it is becoming a complete app ecosystem. Recently, OpenAI has launched a separate app directory within ChatGPT. Through this directory, Apple Music has now been integrated into ChatGPT.
As a result of this new integration, users will be able to search for songs by asking questions in natural language. Not only that, creating playlists or organizing one's music library can also be done from within ChatGPT. A report by 9to5Mac states that users will be able to listen to short samples of songs through ChatGPT. However, complete songs cannot be streamed directly. To listen to full songs, users will need to go to the Apple Music app.

Personalised recommendations
One of the major advantages of this integration is personalized recommendations. If ChatGPT can remember a user's favorite songs or artists from previous conversations, it will be able to suggest new songs or artists accordingly. This will make it possible to understand users' music preferences more clearly.
Users can also create playlists by giving specific instructions if they wish. For example, "Create a playlist on Apple Music with 30 rock and roll Christmas songs, but exclude clichéd songs." Requests can also be made to create playlists based on themes from popular TV shows or movies. ChatGPT will select songs accordingly and add playlists to the user's Apple Music account.
Even if you don't remember song names, there's no problem. Users can search for songs by giving vague descriptions if they want. For example, they can request a romantic song from a movie or songs of a specific mood.
To use Apple Music in ChatGPT, users first need to go to the app directory. There, they need to connect their account with Apple Music and log in. Once the connection is complete, this app can be used by typing @AppleMusic in the chat.
