A video is rapidly gaining popularity on social media featuring a snake catcher who visited a place to get rid of a snake, only to lose his life for not adhering to the appropriate process.
In the video, a person, possibly a local snake catcher, is observed taking a King Cobra out of a building. The snake might have found its way inside the building, either looking for shelter or food. A group of people forms around the scene to witness how the snake catcher tackles the matter. At first, the snake catcher follows the necessary protocol to take out the snake from the building.
Snake bites in self-defence
However, instead of safely storing it in the bag, he keeps it on the ground. Realising that it's under attack, the snake tries to break free from the clutches of the snake catcher. Instead of protecting himself by locking the creature in a safe place, he starts to play with it and even hits it gently on the head.
After that, the King Cobra bites him in his leg. It's highly venomous and, therefore, injects venom into the bloodstream of the man. After being bitten, he says, "Haan toh kaat."

To start with, the man doesn't look too disturbed by it and keeps handling it, as if giving a performance to the spectators. The snake keeps hissing and trying to bite him.
"Yeh jo hai, woh khatron se khel raha hai," another person watching the act is heard saying. The snake tries to escape, but he holds it down and keeps provoking it.
Shortly afterwards, the King Cobra bites him once again; this time on his finger. The man examines the bite and shows it to the camera. He takes off his ring and tries to suck the venom out of it.

Confidence turns fatal
After some time, a smaller box comes, where the person can trap the snake, but at this point, it is already too late. The poison starts its action, and the victim's health state begins to worsen. The same confidence that he showed when handling the reptile eventually kills him.
It remains to be seen whether the poisoning led to his death, or it was something else, since he was not poisoned to death; however, it contributed to his demise to some extent.
The man collapses to the ground and dies a painful death, while the snake is eventually taken away to safety. The entire incident, captured on camera, serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of ignoring safety protocols and underestimating wildlife.
