How the fundraising campaign began

In several appeals online, she reportedly asked followers for financial support to help cover medical expenses and treatment costs.
Her story received widespread sympathy from followers, many of whom donated money believing the illness was genuine. Reports said thousands of users interacted with her content, shared her appeals and contributed financially over a period of time.
