Political plans after music?
For Singh's fans, it was a rush of overwhelming emotions that felt like the end of an era. However, new reports have surfaced suggesting that after his great success in the music industry, the famous singer is planning on building a career in politics.
According to an NDTV report, the singer hailing from Murshidabad's Jiaganj might be considering politics as his next step and possibly starting his own political party. The report suggested that an insider from the Bengali film industry has disclosed the information to the news portal.
The insider informed NDTV that Arijit might be considering contesting in the elections in the near future; however, the singer will start from grassroot level and in the future he will assemble his political party. The report also suggested that, even though there is a possibility of seeing Singh on the political stage, that will not happen in the upcoming 2026 Bengal Assembly Elections.
