Eastern Railway has given advance notice that train services in the Sealdah Division may face disruptions. It has been informed that this problem may occur due to track maintenance in that division. Eastern Railway has announced through a notification that traffic blocks will have to be maintained for 4 hours during the nights between December 9 and 10, December 11 and 12, and December 13 and 14 on the Dhubulia-Muragacha branch of Sealdah Division. As a result, train services may be delayed.
This will affect the 53181 Up Sealdah-Lalgola Passenger. On December 9, 11 and 12, the Sealdah to Lalgola Passenger will depart 1 hour late. The route has been curtailed, with the train terminating at Krishnapur station.

Non-interlocking work is also in the Howrah Division:
Non-interlocking work is ongoing at Khana station on the Burdwan-Khana branch in Howrah Division. Due to the extension of the work timeline, train services have been affected. Multiple express trains are being diverted on December 10.

Besides, the Sealdah-Siuri MEMU Express on December 10 will remain cancelled. Moreover, multiple MEMU and local trains will remain cancelled on December 10. Routes of several trains are also being shortened.
