The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Saturday released a video showing missiles and fighter jets launching from a military vessel as part of ongoing military operations in the region.
US military command says action aimed at eliminating “imminent threats” from Iran.
The footage, shared on social media, also showed strikes hitting several targets. However, the locations and nature of the targets were not identified in the video or the accompanying statement issued by the command.
In a post on X, CENTCOM said the operation was aimed at addressing threats posed by Iran.

“As the President stated, our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime,” the statement said.
CENTCOM also said the action followed direct orders from the US President.
“The President ordered bold action. CENTCOM forces are delivering an overwhelming and unrelenting blow,” the statement added.
The video was released at a time of heightened tensions in West Asia following recent military developments involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
