In an interview filled with extreme criticism after stepping down from Congress, ex-Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene labelled the MAGA movement "all a lie" and did was not shy in also bashing President Donald Trump.
Speaking with political commentator Kim Iversen on January 29, Greene shared some comments regarding the President and MAGA's overall theme.
"MAGA is... I think people are realising it was all a lie. It was a big lie for the people," Greene was quoted as saying by Radar Online.

Claiming that the MAGA now "serves the big donors that donate all the money" to Trump's PACs and his "big ballroom", she said, "Those are the people that get the special favours, the government contracts, they get the pardons."
She further alleged that the foreign countries run the show here. "It's the major big corporations and what is best for the world. That's really what MAGA is," Greene highlighted.
'Trump more interested in Iran than USA'
Greene also accused Trump of focusing more on what is happening in Iran than on what is going on in the USA.
Radar Online quoted asking about the situation in Minnesota, "I'm sorry, we've got civil war practically breaking out in Minnesota, can we not care about that?"
Greene then directed her criticism at Israel, saying Trump is obsessed with the country and doesn't care about the Gazans who died in the conflict.
"We're witnessing war on behalf of Israel," Greene stated. "Innocent people in Gaza, hundreds of thousands, are being murdered so that some new real estate development can be built. Money will flow in, and everyone will get rich in 'New Gaza'."
She continued, "We're seeing a plan unfold, which is a new world order and a new way of doing business. It's similar to the Scooby Doo meme where they pull the mask off the villain. The mask is coming off, and 'Make America Great Again' isn't truly about America or its people."

When asked about how President Trump "fell into that trap" and became the "leader of the swamp" who wants to go to war with Iran, Greene appeared to have no answer.
'I KNOW Trump'
"I'm not sure how he ended up there. I know him. I worked closely with him over several years and travelled with him. I've campaigned with him, visited him, visited him, talked with him on the phone, text messages with him, I mean I know the president. People always think 'Oh, it's his staff.' They want to blame everyone around him. There may be a point where people have to come to grips with this is Donald Trump," Greene explained.
She continued, "It's difficult to say what he will do. Anyone who knows President Trump understands you can't force him to act a certain way or dictate his choices. Certain people can influence him based on what they say, but is anyone truly making him do these things? That's a question worth considering. Another question to think about is what that bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania meant and what lies behind it. Is it affecting specific decisions? I would guess perhaps."
