There has been a postponement in PG and professional semester examinations from May 20 to May 25 for certain “unforeseen circumstances,” according to the University of Delhi.
The decision was announced on May 1 through an official notification issued by the university’s Examination Wing.
These examinations are relevant to many students in their advanced and specialised courses. However, this delay is only valid for six days, and all other examinations will remain unaffected.

Only a limited window impacted
According to university officials, examinations scheduled before May 20 and after May 25 will be conducted as per the original datesheet.
The administration has emphasised that the broader exam schedule remains intact to minimise disruption for students across departments.
Revised schedule in the works
The departments in question have been informed of arranging new dates for the respective examinations. It is important to take care of the process to prevent any scheduling conflict from arising.
It was further clarified that the new date sheet would be made available only after due consideration and approval by the administration. It is important for students to visit the examination portal frequently as revised date sheets would be published on the website.
Advisory for NCWEB, SOL students
Students enrolled under the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board and the School of Open Learning have also been asked to follow updates on their respective portals for course-specific changes.
