Dhurandhar has premiered on Netflix eight weeks after its theatrical run and is now available worldwide. The film began streaming on January 30, 2026, not only in Hindi but also in multiple dubbed versions, including Tamil and Telugu.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar received widespread appreciation and posted strong box-office numbers. Despite not releasing theatrically in the Middle East and Pakistan, the film earned approximately $33 million (₹299 crore) overseas. As per reports, the theatrical ban resulted in an estimated loss of around $10 million in those markets.

Following its Netflix release, the film has found significant traction in Pakistan. Dhurandhar is currently trending at number one on Netflix in the country within days of its streaming debut, with viewers tuning in largely to understand the reasons behind its “controversial” tag.

Plot of Dhurandhar

In Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh played the role of an Indian Spy who secretly went on a mission to Karachi to take down terrorist groups and use smart plans while making tough decisions. The film has shown Plane hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack, along with the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which made it even more controversial by initiating debates.

The film was not released in Pakistan because the country has not permitted Indian films for a few years. The movie has won the hearts of fans by grossing over ₹890.67 crore in India, and approximately ₹1,428 crore globally, with a huge box-office success.
