Almost two months after being released, Dhurandhar remains the dominant title at the box office. Throughout its first six weeks of release, Aditya Dhar's film rewrote record books as it set new daily collection records week after week.
As it enters week eight, Dhurandhar reached yet another milestone, it is now among only four films ever to have achieved gross revenues exceeding Rs 1,000 crore in the Indian market with all other films being produced from South India.

Dhurandhar scripts history
Dhurandhar reached over Rs 1,000 crore domestically by earning Rs 2.9 crore net in India on its eighth weekend and an additional Rs 1.25 crore on Republic Day (January 26), which was day 53 of its theatrical run. Domestically, the film has generated Rs 1,002 crore gross and Rs 835 crore net in India.
Previously, the highest grossing Hindi film in India was Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which grossed Rs 760 crore domestically.

The number three spot is taken by KGF Chapter 2, the highest grossing Kannada film of all time, which made Rs 1,001 crore in India.
