The performance of Ranveer Singh was appreciated in the film, as the audience referred to it as one of the best in his career. The supporting actors in the film, like Sanjay Dutt and Rakesh Bedi, have been appreciated as well.
Aditya Dhar has taken the drama, action, and emotions to another level, keeping me completely hooked through every scene and shot.

Mixed reactions over pacing and execution
However, not all feedback was positive. Some of the viewers claimed that the film had problems with its pacing, especially during the first half of the film and pointed to uneven narrative choices.

Other viewers also complained about the technical aspects of the film. For example, the background score was inconsistent. Although some of the background score was appreciated, other viewers claimed it was underwhelming. This implies that although the film may be appreciated by a certain section of the viewers, it does not resonate with everyone.
Yeah music was underwhelming overall ngl except for aari aari, but bgm went god level in second half though. Another downside to me was the length, you could feel it during certain portions. But still awesome movie, solid 4/5, ranveer is insane

Criticism over tone and storytelling
A certain section of viewers expressed stronger criticism, describing the film as overly loud and lacking subtlety. Some social media posts questioned the narrative depth and tone, with a few users calling the storytelling excessive.

This was evident on various social media platforms. Although some viewers appreciated the film, they claimed that some of the sequences felt stretched were overly dramatic.
Dhurandhar 2 feels less like a movie and more like a loud propaganda reel. Weak story, forced agenda, and over-the-top dialogues everywhere. Characters feel like slogans, not real people. No subtlety, no depth—just noise. By the end, it’s not impactful, just exhausting. 🎬… pic.twitter.com/pPzj676Z7g
