Director Aditya Dhar has apologised to fans after delays disrupted the paid preview shows of Dhurandhar 2 on Wednesday. The film, which had created huge excitement before its release, saw long queues outside theatres, but many screenings could not start on time due to technical issues.

The delay mainly affected Malayalam and Kannada versions, leading to confusion and chaos in cinema halls.

Preview delays and official apology

Aditya Dhar shared a note on X (formerly Twitter), explaining the situation and updating viewers about the revised schedule. He said that most Hindi shows across India started as planned from 5 pm, while Tamil and Telugu shows were scheduled from 9 pm.

However, due to technical difficulties, Malayalam and Kannada shows have been postponed to Thursday morning. He said, “To our dear Dhurandhar family, Dhurandhar is not just a film for us; it is something we have lived with, nurtured, and dreamed of sharing with each and every one of you, together, at the same moment, in every language. Most of our Hindi shows across India are running as scheduled from 5 pm onwards. All of our Tamil and Telugu shows will commence from 9 pm onwards. However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Malayalam and Kannada shows will begin from tomorrow morning."

In an earlier message, the director also requested audiences not to share spoilers online. He urged viewers to let others experience the film fresh and not through leaked clips or posts.
