Is Tollywood’s most talked-about couple, Dev and Rukmini Maitra, finally ready to tie the knot?
This question has been doing the rounds since the morning after a series of photos shared by Dev, which went viral among their fans.
In the pictures, Dev and Rukmini are seen sitting together, smiling, and getting mehendi applied to their hands. The images quickly caught the attention of fans, sparking speculation about whether wedding preparations had already begun for the beloved ‘power couple’ this spring season.

Mehendi photos trigger wedding buzz
The photos clearly show intricate, but minimal mehendi designs on both their hands. While mehendi is traditionally associated with non-Bengali weddings, it has now become a popular pre-wedding ritual among Bengalis as well. What added to the intrigue was the letter ‘R'-believed to be Rukmini’s initial, visible in Dev’s mehendi, further fuelling curiosity among fans.
However, not everyone is convinced. A section of fans believes the photos could be part of a promotional campaign for an upcoming project. Adding to the mystery, Dev captioned the post simply as his trademark caption, “Emni” (just like that), offering no clear explanation.

Despite Dev’s attempt to brush it off, fans are reading between the lines. With the festive spring season in full swing and love in the air, the mehendi pictures have only intensified excitement. Some fans have even gone ahead and started congratulating the popular ‘Dev-mini’ duo in anticipation. One commented,"No nazar please". Another commented,"I want this type relationship."
