GATE 2026 result to be declared today by IIT Guwahati. Check steps to download scorecard, cutoff, topper list and other key details.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will declare the GATE 2026 results on March 19, with the result link set to go live on the official portal.

Candidates who appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will be able to check their results through the GOAPS login using their enrolment ID and password. The institute has already released the final answer key and question papers ahead of the result announcement.

The results will be available for all papers, including CSE, EE, ME, ECE, CE and Data Science, among others.

Final answer key released ahead of result

According to official updates, the final answer key has been published on the GOAPS portal. Candidates who had raised objections can now view the revised responses.

Once released, the result will be based on this final answer key. Authorities have clarified that no further objections or re-evaluation requests will be accepted after the result is declared.

How to check GATE 2026 result

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:

Visit gate2026.iitg.ac.in

Click on “Applicant Login”

Enter enrolment ID and password

View result on the dashboard

Download and save for future reference

Scorecard, cutoff and topper list

IIT Guwahati will also release the GATE 2026 topper’s list for all 30 subjects. The list will include candidate names, marks out of 100 and normalised scores out of 1000.

The institute will publish minimum qualifying marks (cutoff) for each subject. Candidates meeting the cutoff will be eligible to download their scorecards and participate in the admission process.

The GATE 2026 scorecard will be available from March 27 to May 31 for free download. After that, candidates can access it by paying a fee of ₹500.

The scorecard will remain valid for three years and can be used for admissions to MTech, MSc, PhD programmes as well as recruitment in public sector undertakings (PSUs).
