Ahead of its release on January 23, 'Border 2' has begun creating a buzz across borders. Leaving no stones unturned in gearing up for his latest film, actor Varun Dhawan took to X recently to host a '#Varunsays' session.
During this session, several cinephiles asked him several questions regarding the film and one such striking question was whether the film will launch in Pakistan.

Here's how the 'Bhediya' actor responded
When asked by an X user when the movie will be released in Pakistan, Varun said, "#border 2 is a film based on the 1971 war and some true events around that. I’m sure sunny sir ke pakistan mein bhi fan hain #varunsays". However, this post by the X user has now been deleted.
Other questions posed to the actor
In reply to "what intrigued you to the script of Border 2", Varun said, "A war can never be one by an individual it takes all forces to come together. In #border2 we have the army,navy and airforce together oh ya and also the one man army sunny Deol #varunsays".
A user asked Varun how he prepared for the film to which Varun replied, "Bahut prepare karna tha. I infact injured my tail bone while shooting the battle of Basantar. I shot 40 days in Babina for that with real soldiers #varunsays."
Another X user asked Varun how he felt essaying the role of Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya and what he learnt from the character. To this, Varun said, "I feel blessed will be meeting his family soon. He is a hero like no one else #border2 #varunsays."
In another question, Varun revealed that two more songs and a trailer will soon be launched before the movie's release.

When asked which genre he wants to be part of next, Varun revealed his desire to do "sci fi and mytho" movies.
About 'Border 2'
This movie is a sequel to the 1997 film with the same name. It has been directed by Anurag Singh and has a powerful cast, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa, Varun Dhawan and Anya Singh.
