June brings a packed OTT slate with Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Gullak season 5, House of the Dragon season 3, Avatar: Fire and Ash and more.

June is shaping up to be a busy month for streaming platforms, with several highly anticipated films, web series, documentaries and returning fan-favourite shows arriving across Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, ZEE5 and Apple TV+.

From big-ticket action thrillers and fantasy dramas to family entertainers and workplace comedies, viewers will have a wide range of options throughout the month.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge leads the big releases

One of the biggest digital premieres this month is Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller follows undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza, as he continues his mission inside Karachi's criminal underworld after eliminating Rehman Dakait. The film stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. It is set to stream on JioHotstar from June 4.

The platform has also planned a special digital premiere event featuring behind-the-scenes moments, cast interactions and additional footage linked to the film's release.

Popular Indian shows return with new seasons

Several well-known Indian titles are making a comeback this month. Gullak season 5 returns to Sony LIV on June 5 with more stories centred around the everyday lives of the Mishra family. The series continues to focus on work struggles, family relationships and middle-class experiences that have made it a favourite among viewers.

Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar season 2 will begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 19, taking its story of heartbreak, revenge and political conflict further. Meanwhile, Made in India: A Titan Story arrives on Prime Video and Amazon MX Player on June 3, tracing the rise of one of India's most recognised watch brands.

Global franchises headline the international lineup

According to NDTV profit, International releases are also expected to draw attention. House of the Dragon season 3 will stream on JioHotstar from June 21/22 as the Targaryen civil war escalates with the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet.

James Cameron's Avatar franchise returns with Avatar: Fire and Ash on June 24, while The Bear season 5 reaches its final chapter on June 25. Netflix will also release Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 later that week, continuing Aang's journey into the Earth Kingdom.

Comedy, thrillers and documentaries round out the month

The month's slate also includes titles such as Maa Behen, Patriot, Brown, Cape Fear, Office Romance, Mexico 86, Every Year After, I Will Find You and Michael Jackson: The Verdict. Together, the lineup offers a mix of comedy, romance, crime, suspense and documentary storytelling for audiences across genres.
