The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, has crossed one billion views, becoming the first film trailer to reach the milestone.
Released by Sony Pictures on March 17, the trailer achieved the mark within four days. Data cited by WaveMetrix shows the count has since gone past 1.1 billion views.

The film’s trailer has surpassed earlier records set by Deadpool & Wolverine and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The Deadpool & Wolverine teaser had logged 365 million views in 24 hours following its Super Bowl debut in 2024, overtaking No Way Home, which recorded 355.5 million views in a day.
Brand New Day has now set a new benchmark, registering 718.6 million views within its first 24 hours. It has also exceeded the 24-hour record set by the video game Grand Theft Auto VI, which drew 475 million views.
