In Uttar Pradesh, a murder case took an unexpected turn when police found the suspect within a day due to a minor digital hint. Officers discovered something many people would not notice: a dumped liquor bottle, which led to the conclusion of what could have been a lengthy inquiry in just one day. A missing guy, an undercover connection, and a carefully arranged murder were all related by that one object.

From a missing person to a murder case
According to reports, Lokendra's family was worried because he hadn't been seen since April 1. Around the outer limits of Agra, a partly burned body was discovered a few days later on a roadside. Identification was challenging due to the state of the body, but a tattoo confirmed that it was him. Doubt was increased by the fact that it appeared to be an attempt to destroy identity.
Police found an empty bottle of alcohol at the location. Rather than brushing it off, they investigated it extensively. The bottle's QR code indicated the store where it was bought. This tiny digital trace completely changed the path of the case and gave detectives their first solid clue.
Police arrived at the booze store using this lead and examined the CCTV footage. Lokendra was spotted there with two men. Suspects were recognised as Dharamveer and Mahesh. After being arrested, their statements started to reveal a far more complicated story.
A controversy that led to a murder
Investigators found that Mahesh reportedly had an affair with Lokendra's spouse. After learning of the event, Lokendra publicly criticised it and even warned individuals in the area around him. However, the relationship continued and even turned into a conspiracy. Lokendra was led to a distant area after being dragged out for drinks, according to the police. They allegedly drank together before killing him. Then, before escaping, the accused tried to erase evidence by setting the body on fire.
