With IPL 2026 knocking on the door and the mega cricket event set to start with a southern derby, this time, the IPL can be one of the key changing seasons so far. With not so many spinners coming forward, Indian cricket fans and selectors will closely look towards the spinners. After Jadeja- Ashwin, Kuldeep and Chahal took charge of bowling, India has now found Varun Chakravarthy. With Ashwin having already retired, Jadeja is also on the verge of the end; also, Chahal is not in the scheme; a new spinner all-rounder is yet to come.

Right now, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar have taken charge, but Washington Sundar is yet to make his place strong in the team. This IPL, a few teams have regrouped their spin bowling line-up.

Here are a few promising spinners who can knock on the door of the Indian team

Delhi Capitals promising new talent, Vipraj Nigam could rise as one of the prominent all-rounders, Sai Kishore of Gujarat Titans has developed himself with his new carrom ball, and he will be one of the key players of the team.

On the other hand, India capped all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed is also in the line, as Lucknow does not have so many spinners; his role will be crucial in the upcoming matches. Another spinner of Lucknow, Digvesh Rathi, who had a very fine last season, will be a key player to watch out for.

This season will also be crucial for prominent leg spinners like Shreyas Gopal, Vignesh Putthur, Mayank Markande and Ravi Bishnoi. Bishnoi, who was once the number one ICC-ranked bowler, has not been on the radar of the Indian team for a long time, though he recently played a few matches as a replacement player in the New Zealand series. He is going to be one of the key bowlers for the Rajasthan Royals.
