Despite arriving with considerable promise, Roony Bardghji has found opportunities hard to come by at FC Barcelona, where intense competition in attacking positions has limited his involvement this season. Now, with the summer window approaching, a temporary move away from the club is increasingly being viewed as the most practical solution for all parties.

The young winger faces a particularly tough challenge in displacing Lamine Yamal on the right flank, making regular starts unlikely in the current setup. As a result, discussions around a potential loan move have gathered momentum, with the player reportedly open to gaining experience elsewhere.

Strong interest from across europe

Several clubs have emerged as potential destinations, reflecting Bardghji’s continued reputation as one of Europe’s most promising young attackers. Teams that were previously interested in signing him, including AS Monaco, FC Porto and Real Betis, have renewed their pursuit ahead of the summer transfer window.

Joining this list is Juventus, who are reportedly keen to bring the winger to Serie A on a loan deal. The Italian club’s stature and history could make them an appealing option, particularly for a player seeking consistent top-level exposure.

Barcelona firm on loan-only approach

Barcelona, however, are not willing to part ways with the player permanently. The club sees Bardghji as part of its long-term plans and is only considering a loan arrangement that allows him to develop while maintaining full control over his future.

Manager Hansi Flick is understood to be an admirer of the youngster and could look to integrate him more prominently next season. For now, though, a temporary move appears to be the most viable path for gaining valuable minutes and experience.

World cup performance could shape future

Bardghji’s immediate future may also hinge on his performances on the international stage, with the upcoming FIFA World Cup expected to play a key role in determining his trajectory. A strong showing could strengthen his case for a bigger role at Barcelona or increase demand from clubs across Europe.

As interest builds and options expand, the coming months will be crucial in deciding whether Bardghji stays to fight for his place or takes a strategic step away to accelerate his development.
