Yamaha Motor Company has refreshed its popular scooter lineup with the updated Yamaha Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid, introducing new colour options and subtle design tweaks while retaining its proven mechanical package.

Two new colour options introduced

The top-spec Fascino S variant is now available in two updated shades: Matte Grey and Matte Black. These new colour schemes align with the scooter’s refreshed styling, especially the redesigned tail section that gives it a more contemporary look.

The Matte Grey option stands out as the more striking of the two. It features a combination of grey body panels along with black elements on the apron centre and floorboard. Gold-painted alloy wheels add a premium contrast, while black and gold graphics across the fender and body panels enhance its visual appeal. The Fascino S badging is also neatly integrated, adding to the scooter’s refined finish.

On the other hand, the Matte Black variant offers a more understated yet elegant aesthetic. It carries an all-black theme complemented by gold-finished rims and subtle graphics, making it ideal for riders who prefer a minimalist but premium look.

Design updates enhance appeal

The most noticeable update on the 2026 model is the revised tail section, which brings a cleaner and more modern appearance to the scooter. The updated graphics across both colour options have been designed to complement this change, ensuring a cohesive look across the range.

Despite these visual upgrades, Yamaha has chosen to keep the overall design philosophy intact, maintaining the Fascino’s signature retro-modern styling that has been popular among urban riders.

Engine and performance remain unchanged

Mechanically, the scooter continues with the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor produces 8bhp and 10.3Nm of torque and is paired with Yamaha’s hybrid assist technology, which helps improve fuel efficiency and provides smoother acceleration.

The decision to retain the existing engine setup reflects Yamaha’s confidence in its reliability and efficiency, which have been key selling points for the Fascino lineup.

Pricing and positioning

The Yamaha Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid is priced at Rs 95,200 (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively in the 125cc scooter segment. With the addition of new colours and subtle design refinements, Yamaha aims to keep the model fresh and appealing without altering its core strengths.

Overall, the update focuses on enhancing style and visual appeal while maintaining the practicality and efficiency that define the Fascino range.
