Does having a power bank stored beside you really eliminate the tension? The worry always remains—how long will the battery of your phone or any other device last? How long will you get the best performance from it? All of this indicates what the battery is like. Previously, understanding all this in labs would have taken months or years. Now, an agentic AI system will take only a few days to do the same work.
This has been revealed in a recent report. Researchers have stated that after how many charge and discharge cycles a battery will drop below 10% of its best capacity can be predicted by this AI system from data of just 50 charging cycles. As a result, the answer to this test will come using only 5% of the energy that was previously required for battery testing. Based on this, battery manufacturers worldwide will be able to improve the quality of all types of batteries they produce. Therefore, getting better quality batteries by utilising AI is just a matter of time.

Due to this technology, it will be possible to get quick and accurate predictions not only for smartphones but also for laptops, electric vehicles, and other electronic device batteries. Researchers believe this will also significantly accelerate the process of designing new batteries and creating long-lasting batteries.
