Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 15 5G in India on January 6, 2026. The new leaks have indicated certain key details about its pricing, storage configurations and features. The smartphone is expected to be sold on Amazon and the Xiaomi India online store. The phone will bring a captivating mid-range option to buyers who want premium-style specifications without premium pricing.
Price and configurations that catch the eye
According to Gadgets 360, the Redmi Note 15 5G will launch in India with two primary variants: an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model likely priced around ₹22,999 and an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option expected at about ₹24,999. These figures indicate that Xiaomi is positioning the device slightly lower than its global launch prices while also offering higher RAM as standard. The phone is expected to arrive in striking colourways such as Black, Glacier Blue and Mist Purple. The Indian variant is also expected to feature IP66 dust and water resistance.

Specs, battery and camera features that matter
The Redmi Note 15 5G is set to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which will assure a decent boost in processing power and graphical capability. The phone will be able to deliver up to 10 per cent better GPU performance and 30 per cent improved CPU performance. The device is expected to feature a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone can go up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, and Hydro Touch 2.0 for responsive touch even with wet fingers.
The phone’s camera is expected to be 108-megapixel, whereas the rear camera will feature the MasterPixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The phone will support 4K video recording, elevating photography capabilities in the mid-range segment. The battery life appears solid, with a 5,520 mAh cell and 45 W wired fast charging support under the hood.
