The Election Commission released the fourth supplementary voter list on Monday night, and voters whose names are missing will now need to approach a tribunal to seek inclusion. This step follows directions from the Supreme Court, with the process being overseen by tribunals formed under the Calcutta High Court.
A total of 19 tribunals have been set up across the state, one for each district, with retired judges appointed to handle the cases. Voters who do not find their names in the updated list must submit an application to these tribunals through an online process.

How to apply to the tribunal
Applicants must first visit the Election Commission’s website and select the West Bengal-specific option. They need to log in using their mobile number, after which an OTP will be sent for verification.
Once logged in, voters should search using their EPIC number to check their details. If their name is missing, an option to apply to the tribunal will be available.
The application requires basic details, including a complete residential address with PIN code. Applicants must also explain the reason for approaching the tribunal in a written statement of up to 500 words. Additionally, they need to mention their polling station or voter centre.
After submitting the form, applicants will be asked to provide their Aadhaar number for verification. An OTP will be sent again for the final submission. Once completed, an acknowledgement number will be generated, which should be kept safely for future reference.
Meanwhile, administrative reshuffles have also taken place, with 83 BDOs from 18 districts transferred, including officials from Nandigram and Diamond Harbour.
