Since the publication of the draft voter list, controversy has arisen over 1.36 crore voters' names. Complaints about voters marked dead
At the same time, complaints have emerged from multiple districts that some voters are incorrectly shown as 'dead' even though they are alive. On Friday, three such cases were highlighted by the Trinamool Congress at a political meeting in South 24 Parganas. The Election Commission has sent an urgent notice to the district DEO regarding this issue.
