An Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi landed safely at Kempegowda International Airport despite rising tensions in West Asia linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
Flight EY-262 arrived in Bengaluru as scheduled, even as concerns over air travel have grown due to the conflict in the region, according to a report by news agency ANI. Passengers arriving in Bengaluru said the situation in the United Arab Emirates remained relatively stable despite tensions elsewhere in the Gulf.

Passengers describe situation in UAE
As per a report by Economic Times, travellers arriving from Abu Dhabi said daily life in the UAE was continuing normally, though the wider regional conflict had created anxiety among expatriates.
One passenger said authorities in the UAE had been supportive and services were operating without disruption.
āThere is no problem actually. The government is very helpful and supportive. We are working in the healthcare department and things are running smoothly. Personally, the current situation is okay now,ā the passenger said.
Another traveller urged people not to believe misinformation circulating on social media, saying the situation in cities such as Dubai remained under control. āPeople should follow genuine updates from the government instead of fake news on social media. Everything is normal,ā the passenger said. Some travellers also dismissed viral reports claiming that major landmarks in Dubai had been attacked, calling them false.
Flights continue despite regional conflict
The safe arrival of the Etihad Airways flight comes at a time when the conflict between Iran, the United States and Israel has heightened concerns about airspace safety in the Middle East.

Passengers who arrived in India said they had been advised by local authorities in Abu Dhabi to stay indoors or move to safe zones when security alerts were issued. One traveller at Indira Gandhi International Airport said residents were informed in advance about precautionary measures when drones were detected in the region.
Despite these precautions, passengers said everyday activities in the UAE were continuing normally.
Special flights carrying Indian nationals have also landed in several Indian cities, including Hyderabad and Kochi, amid the ongoing airspace uncertainty in West Asia. Passengers expressed hope that tensions in the region would ease soon so that normal travel and daily life could continue without disruption.
