Amid the series of Asian and European airlines revising their ticket and fuel surcharge prices, IndiGo, one of India’s leading airlines, has publicly announced its additional ‘fuel charges’ applicable on its flights from March 14, 2026.
This decision comes at a time of rising fuel prices due to the escalating war in Iran, and has also compelled other airlines to raise their ticket prices and fuel surcharges.

This move also comes after Air India, Air India Express, and other airlines announced new fuel surcharges on their flights from March 12, 2026, a measure necessary to continue operating these flights amid rising prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).
