The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 city intimation slip on its official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access the document using their login credentials, including application number and password.
The city slip gives candidates an early indication of where their examination centre will be located. The agency is expected to release the admit cards shortly after, tentatively between March 29 and April 1.

Exam schedule and participation
As per last year's trends, over 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the computer-based test scheduled from April 2 to 8. The exam will be conducted in dual shifts. The morning shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Earlier this year, more than 13 lakh candidates appeared for session 1 of JEE Mains 2026 held in January. Out of these, around 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for the next stage, JEE Advanced.
How to download the city slip
Candidates can follow a simple process to download the city intimation slip:
Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on "Advance city intimation slip - JEE Main 2026 session 2".
A new page will open.
Enter login details such as application number, password and the security pin.
Press the submit icon.
The city slip will appear on the screen.
Check details and download it.
What the city slip contains
The city intimation slip includes key details such as application number, candidate’s name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, category, PwD status, medium of question paper, exam date and allotted test city.

While the city slip informs candidates about the exam city, the admit card will carry more detailed information, including the exact exam centre address, timings, and personal details.
