The wait for Rajasthan Board (RBSE) Class 10 results has been extended, as the much-anticipated announcement will not be made on March 20. Lakhs of students who were expecting the results today will now have to wait a little longer.

Why the result was not declared on March 20

Usually, the Rajasthan Board or the state Education minister confirms the result date at least a day in advance. However, no official announcement regarding RBSE 10th Result 2026 was made this time, indicating that the result was unlikely to be released on March 20, reported Mint.

According to media reports, Board Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore stated that the evaluation of answer sheets has been completed. However, due to consecutive holidays, the process required to publish the results could not be finished on time.

Expected date for result announcement

As per local media reports and board sources, the results are now likely to be declared next week. Students may expect the announcement around March 23 or shortly after.

The board is aiming to release results earlier than usual this year. Traditionally, results are declared in May, but this time there is an effort to publish them in March so that the new academic session can begin from April 1.

Changes in examination pattern from next year

A major change is also planned in the examination system. From next year, Class 10 board exams in Rajasthan will be conducted twice a year—once in February and again in May.

Board officials have indicated that steps are being taken to speed up both exams and result processes, in line with government directions. The aim is to offer students more flexibility and ensure the academic calendar runs on time.

Key exam details and student participation

This year, over 10.68 lakh students registered for the RBSE Class 10 exams. Around 31,000 teachers were assigned for the evaluation process.

The exams were conducted between February 12 and February 28, 2026. Evaluation reportedly began soon after the first paper to speed up result preparation.
