Bollywood actor and producer Alia Bhatt marked her 33rd birthday with a professional announcement, unveiling Eternal Kids, a children's storytelling division under her existing production banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The initiative reflects Bhatt’s intent to bring family-oriented and childhood-inspired narratives to audiences.
Three projects have already been confirmed under the new label, each rooted in personal and family memories. Bhatt also described the philosophy behind the venture in a shared post as, "where the childhood we remember meets the child still living quietly inside us."
Projects rooted in family legacy
The first confirmed title, There's C and G and M, is based on stories created by Bhatt’s late grandfather—tales she and her sister Shaheen Bhatt grew up hearing. Sharing the announcement, she added, "Shaheen and I grew up on these stories, and now we are thrilled to bring them to you. Miss you, Grandpaa."
The second project, OOLANGOO, revolves around a fictional creature so unusual that Bhatt’s mother coined a new word to describe it while narrating the story. The script for this project was also written by her mother.
The third project expands the existing Adventures of Ed-a-Mamma universe—based on a children’s book linked to Bhatt’s kidswear brand—into a series format, with more books also planned. Announcing the new venture, Bhatt wrote, "Our production company, Eternal Sunshine, just had a baby; say hello to Eternal Kids. We have three exciting projects lined up already."
