Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan surprised fans with a major career update on his 61st birthday. In a heartfelt video message that is now going viral, the actor revealed that he spent the past six months listening to scripts and carefully choosing his next film projects.

Speaking directly to fans, Aamir shared that he had taken time away from the spotlight to focus on selecting the right stories for his next phase as an actor. According to him, the past several months were largely dedicated to hearing narrations and deciding which projects felt right.
He also expressed gratitude to his fans for their continued support, “All my love to the Aamir Universe fans, and thank you so much for all the love that you have given me all this time. It really means a lot to me.”

Aamir further revealed that after months of listening to various scripts, he has now finalised a couple of films and will soon begin working on them.
“I have been working hard at selecting scripts now for the coming films. The last six months, I’ve only been listening to scripts. So, I’ve finally decided on the next couple of films that I’m going to be doing.”

The actor also spoke about restructuring responsibilities at his production banner, Aamir Khan Productions. He revealed that producer Aparna Purohit will now manage the day-to-day operations, allowing him to focus more on acting.
“Here onwards, Aamir Khan Productions… I used to spend a lot of time in my production house as well. That is going to be handled by Aparna Purohit. I’m focusing on acting also. Hopefully you’ll see a lot more work from me as an actor.”

Aamir also confirmed that projects like Ek Din and Lahore 1947 are scheduled to release this year, while another film titled Ati Sundar is expected later.
“Most probably by the end of the year. Yes, Ati Sundar will also come out by the end of the year.”
Although the actor did not disclose details about the newly finalised films, his birthday announcement signals the beginning of a busy phase ahead. With multiple releases planned and new acting projects in the pipeline, fans can expect to see much more of Aamir Khan on the big screen in the coming months.
