The Andhra Pradesh Class 10 board examinations are set to begin soon across the state. Thousands of students will appear for the AP SSC exams at designated centres. The board has also issued important guidelines regarding hall tickets, exam timings and prohibited items.
AP SSC exams 2026 begin from March 16
The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) will conduct the AP SSC examinations 2026 starting March 16. Students appearing for the Class 10 board exams will write the first language paper on the opening day. The examinations will continue until April 1 at various examination centres across the state. As per the official timetable, the exams will be conducted in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm each day. Students are advised to reach their exam centres at least one hour before the exam to complete verification and seating procedures smoothly.

Hall ticket and important exam instructions
The AP SSC Hall ticket 2026 was released earlier this month on the official board website. Students must download and carry a printed copy of the hall ticket to the examination centre on every exam day. The hall ticket contains important details such as the student’s name, roll number, exam centre information and subject schedule. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without this document. Students must also carefully check their registration number and subject details on the answer booklet before starting the exam.
AP SSC 2026 subject-wise exam schedule
The AP SSC 2026 examinations will follow a detailed subject-wise timetable released by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. The exams will begin with First Language Paper 1 on March 16, followed by the Second Language paper on March 18. The English examination is scheduled for March 21, while Mathematics will be conducted on March 23. Science papers will take place later in the month, with Physics on March 25 and Biology on March 28. The Social Science exam will be held on March 30, followed by Second Language Paper 2 on March 31. The examination cycle will conclude with the SSC optional or other subjects on April 1.
Items allowed and prohibited in the exam hall
Students should bring their hall ticket, blue or black ballpoint pens and basic stationery required for writing the examination. However, several items are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, Bluetooth devices and headphones are not allowed. Students are also not permitted to bring calculators, log tables or any unauthorised written material unless specifically permitted by the board.
Students are advised to carefully follow the exam guidelines and reach the examination centre on time. Proper preparation and adherence to rules will help ensure a smooth examination process.
