Marvel Studios has finally pulled back the curtain on its next big superhero spectacle, unveiling the first full-length trailer of 'Avengers: Doomsday' at CinemaCon, giving fans a glimpse of a massive multiverse battle.
A long-awaited Avengers reunion
The film marks the return of Earth's mightiest heroes after six years since 'Avengers: Endgame'. The trailer, showcased to theatre owners, builds on earlier teasers that hinted at the involvement of characters like Thor, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.

From there, the trailer dives into rapid crossovers: Gambit and Shang-Chi fight side by side, while Mystique transforms into Yelena Belova, setting up a unique face-off. A standout moment shows Thor confronting Doom, only for the villain to stop Mjolnir mid-air.
Captain America's surprise return
One of the biggest reveals comes with the return of Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans. His reappearance surprises Thor, especially after his departure in "Endgame".
Despite the mystery around his return, Steve Rogers is once again shown wielding Thor's hammer, signalling his continued worthiness.
A multiverse of heroes unite
"Doomsday" blends multiple storylines, bringing together the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four and newer teams like the Thunderbolts. Characters from Wakanda and Talokan also appear, hinting at unresolved tensions.
The film features a large ensemble cast, including Ant-Man, Sam Wilson, Mister Fantastic, Magneto, Shuri and Loki, among others.
What lies ahead for the MCU
Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, the film is part of a larger arc that will continue with Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027, concluding Marvel’s Multiverse Saga.
