'I said quiet': Jr NTR reacts as shouting fans disrupt speech at Bengaluru event | WATCH

Actor Jr NTR was spotted asking the audience to calm down as the loud cheers and applause disrupted the event he was present at in Bengaluru on Sunday. Various videos from the event are going viral on social media platforms. In the videos, the actor was seen looking irritated as he repeatedly asked the audience to maintain silence at the event.

Chaos at hospital inauguration

The actor was present at the inauguration ceremony of the KIMS Super Speciality Hospital in Bengaluru as the chief guest. His presence at the event attracted a huge number of his fans to the venue.

Various videos on X are showing the huge crowd present outside and inside the venue where the actor was present. The crowd was huge at the venue, as the police found it challenging to control the crowd at the venue.

Clips from the venue show the huge crowd present at the venue, cheering and waving at the actor. The crowd was huge near the escalator at the venue as they tried to reach the spot where the actor was supposed to appear.

According to reports, the escalator was damaged due to the heavy crowd movement. As a precautionary measure, authorities cut off access to this area of the building until further notice. Subsequently, police officers at the scene took charge, attempting to scatter the crowd of people who had congregated there. It was reported that a mild lathi charge was used to do so.

‘I said quiet… quiet’

In another video from the event that surfaced online, Jr NTR is seen addressing the audience from the stage when a section of the crowd began cheering loudly.

The actor paused mid-speech and asked the audience to remain silent. Pointing toward the crowd with a stern expression, he first spoke in Telugu and said, “Can you all be silent, please?”

When the cheering continued briefly, he repeated the instruction in English, saying, “I said quiet… quiet.”

The audience eventually settled down, after which the actor responded, “Good. Thanks.”

Mixed reactions online

The clip quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing varied responses from users.

“They actually listened… nice,” one user wrote. Another commented, “It's good when celebrities remind people of decency otherwise they shout and make a nuisance, atleast they listen to their favorite celebrities' words.”

Another social media user added, “He knows how to control his audience.”

Upcoming projects

Jr NTR was last seen in the action thriller War 2, which released in August 2025. The film marked his Bollywood debut and featured him alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.

The film earned ₹364 crore worldwide, lower than the previous instalment and below its break-even expectations.

The actor is currently focusing on Telugu projects, including the action drama Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, which is still in production with international shoots underway and is expected to release in summer 2026. He is also expected to begin work on Devara 2, which is anticipated to release next year.
