Telugu star Ram Charan got injured while filming an action sequence for his upcoming movie Peddi on Tuesday, March 24. The incident occurred on the sets of the sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana.

Fans grew worried after news spread online. Some reports claimed the actor had hurt his eye. His team later stepped in to clear the air and share the full picture.

What really happened?

The injury was near his eye, not to the eye itself. His team confirmed to Hindustan Times that he needed four stitches. According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times, "Ram Charan was shooting for an action episode yesterday (Tuesday) and was injured. He had to get four sutures for it. He was injured above his eye, not his eye, like some seem to believe. His eye is fine. He is back to work as it's a minor injury and there's nothing to worry about."
