Last November, Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the main accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, was brought back to India. On Wednesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), with the assistance of Interpol, achieved another success by bringing back Aman, also known as Aman Kumar or Aman Bhainswal, from the United States.
As soon as he arrived on Indian soil, a team of Haryana police took him into custody at Delhi airport. Aman is accused in multiple cases, including murder, religious violence, and other criminal activities. He was known as a sharpshooter in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The accused had previously been arrested in India but was later granted bail.

The CBI has stated that Interpol had issued a Red Notice against Aman. Interpol coordinates with law enforcement agencies worldwide, and the CBI coordinated continuously with American authorities to secure his return.
A CBI official told news media that the agency successfully arranged the return of a total of 47 fugitive criminals to India in 2025, and officials expect this number to increase further in 2026.
