Delhi and other areas of the National Capital Region woke up to a thick fog cover on Saturday morning, which is not a common phenomenon during the end of March. Delhi has been observing unusual weather patterns this year.
Images shared by the news agency PTI showed low visibility in many areas, including Noida, where there is a thick fog cover. There were also scenes of people gathering at Jama Masjid to offer prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in the foggy conditions.

Unseasonal weather continues in capital
Delhi has been observing unusual weather patterns this year. The city has been witnessing an unusual March with low temperatures, better air quality, and rainfall. According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Saturday will range between 27C and 29C, while the minimum temperature can fall to as low as 13C-15C.

The minimum temperature on Friday recorded was 16C. The change in the weather pattern can be attributed to the change in the atmospheric pattern observed in north India.

Visibility dips, but temperatures set to rise
While early morning fog affected visibility in several parts of the city, temperatures are expected to gradually rise through the day.
The IMD has indicated that despite the cooler start, daytime conditions will remain relatively moderate compared to earlier heat spikes recorded this month.
