A key feature of the airport is its 87-acre multi-modal cargo hub, designed to strengthen Indiaās freight infrastructure. The hub will include integrated cargo terminals, warehouses, and logistics zones.
RK Singh, CEO of NIAL, said Phase 1 alone has seen an investment of ā¹800 crore, which is expected to scale up to ā¹3,200 crore in later stages.
