BSNL announces 120 Senior Executive Trainee vacancies, apply from February 5

The recruitment provides successful applicants a chance to work in executive positions for a Government of India public sector company that offers structured pay and career advancement opportunities

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the recruitment of Senior Executive Trainee (SET) 2026. This vacancy announcement includes 120 SET positions in telecom operations and finance. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess an engineering degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent professional qualification such as CA or CMA and apply online. Selection will be by means of a Computer Based Test (CBT).

The online application process begins on February 5. Applicants must ensure that they meet eligibility requirements, such as their age and any other conditions before submitting an application for this position. Vacancy details and dates

BSNL has announced 120 job openings. Of these, 95 positions are in the Telecom stream and 25 are in the Finance stream. The category-wise reservation details can be found in the official notification.

The notification was released on January 29. The process for online application will begin from February 5 and the last date to apply is March 7. The correction window will last from March 8 to 15 and the tentative CBT date is March 29.

The application process must be completed within the given timeline and applications submitted after the last date will not be accepted. The candidates can check the official BSNL recruitment notice here.

Eligibility

For the Telecom stream, students must be preferably degree holders (BE or BTech) on a full-time basis with a minimum percentage of marks of 60 per cent. Their degree will need to have been completed in the areas of Electronics, Electricals, Telecommunications, Computers, IT or related fields.

For Finance stream, students must be qualified as a CA or CMA.

The age limit is 21-30 years but there will be exceptions made for reserved category candidates according to government regulations.

Selection process and salary details

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first step of the selection process, followed by the verification of documents. The official notification has released a comprehensive exam pattern and syllabus.

Candidates selected for the position will be paid at the E-3 IDA pay scale of between Rs 24,900 to Rs 50,500, and during the training/probation period, all salary and allowances will be given according to BSNL rules.

It is strongly recommended that candidates submit applications only through the BSNL website and carefully read all instructions before completing the application form.
